Chadburns-Mollart PT manufacture a large range of 3 way gear boxes to transmit rotary motion at right angles on through lines of remote control rod and gearing systems, on manual operation or slow speed powered systems. The gear boxes come in a range of shaft sizes to complement the other types of control rod fittings produced by Chadburns-Mollart PT.

The variations in the gear box design are there to provide the customer with a product to match their application these include: enclosed gear boxes with side or flange mounting arrangements, and low friction ball bearings. The majority of the gear boxes are 1:1 ratio but gearboxes with 2:1 and 5:2 ratios are also produced.

Boxes with three gears fitted to reverse the direction of rotation on the through line are available

The materials used in our gear boxes are: Bodies; cast iron, Spindles; steel, aluminium bronze, stainless steel, Gears; carbon steel, gunmetal.
Specials manufactured in other materials, and spindles with keyways are also offered.
